Digital Sewing Patterns for well known Baby Dolls.
The pattern consists of 27 ready-to-cut paper pieces that will allow you to sew all the dresses and extras mentioned. All pattern pieces are full size and ready to be cut after printing. Some pieces will need to be taped together because they are too large for A4 paper. Some pieces are too large for the paper and will need to be cut to size. A complete description explaining how to sew the doll clothes, with full-color picture of all the clothes, is included with the pattern. This is a pre-2020 pattern and seam allowance is not included in the pieces.
The dresses are not too difficult to sew but the shiny fabrics make sewing a bit more complicated because these fabrics are slippery. Cutting shiny fabrics can also be a bit more difficult if you are not used to it. But the dresses themselves are pretty easy to sew. You will need to know how to gather fabric and create a zipper.
I used shiny satins for all dresses except the christening gown. For the christening gown I used eyelet fabric. Further I used organza for sleeves and netting for the fair wings. For the facing pieces I used cotton. All fabric types are indicated in the pattern.
The dolls in the photos are my personal Zapf Creations® BABY Born® dolls, 43cm. I have designed these clothing patterns especially to fit these dolls, while they are wearing their diaper, but PLEASE NOTE that my patterns are NOT official Zapf Creations® BABY Born® doll clothing patterns. I create all patterns by hand at home and I have no affiliation in any way or with any doll manufacturer whatsoever.
